Attention all Clients & Guests COVID-19 Update

We at Caravelle Care Inc. take the health and wellness of each of the clients we serve very seriously. In light of COVID-19 entering our communities, we want to make sure that we do our part to prevent it’s spread.

We are offering the option of telehealth in lieu of face-to-face sessions for all clients whose insurance allows for this. Telehealth can be provided even if your insurer does not cover it; however, the costs would be out of pocket and not accumulate towards deductibles and/or out of pocket maximums (for additional insurance questions please contact Cullen at cfs@caravellecare.org). Please discuss this option with your provider.

If you have traveled outside of the United States or had possible contact with a person infected with the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) virus, we ask that you not attend face to face sessions until you have been back in the United States for 14 days and have remained symptom free.

If any of you are experiencing any symptoms (dry cough, fever, body aches, or have been in contact with someone who has) we ask that you cancel your appointment as soon as you possible.

It is also recommended that you contact Ochsner’s free information hotline at 1-844-888-2772, available 24/7 for advice and COVID-19 information.

· For those of you who are in the high risk category (over the age of 60, have on-going respiratory issues, or any compromise to your immune system) we strongly encourage you to utilize our telehealth option until such a time that we have more answers on prevention, containing the spread and treatment.

· If you chose to continue with in person sessions, we ask that you wash your hands for at least 20 seconds with soap & water and/or use the hand sanitizer products that are in each office and waiting room areas.

For those of you receiving services in our Metairie office, and use the restroom, we ask that you use the Lysol wipes (available in the waiting room), to wipe down the key after use.

Thank you and we appreciate your supporting us with supporting you so that we can all stay healthy!
